Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP is seeking an associate with at least 3 years of litigation experience to work in our Houston office.
Our nationally recognized construction practice provides the opportunity to represent clients throughout the country. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Texas and should have experience handling construction disputes, including preparing, filing and enforcing mechanics’ and materialmen’s liens, determining who is entitled to lien rights and enforcement thereof, payment disputes, delay and disruption claims, and defective design and construction claims. The associate must also be able to work independently on core litigation tasks, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, preparing discovery, handling motion practice, taking and defending depositions and assisting with trial preparation.
